Prosperous June: Last year; today...

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

I planned to post an entry on the 11th to commemorate the so-called one year anniversary of my solo trip to Europe last year. But that plan went down to the drain as I was in a pretty pathetic situation last Tues. Did posted an entry the day after but that post mentioned nothing about the common reminiscing phrase

"Last year on this very day...

A year has passed by. Up to this moment I still couldn't believe that I finally have my wishlist on places I want to go; checked. What makes it more wonderful is that I fulfilled one of my grandest dream before I entered the big-three-zero zone. Using my own pocket money; but few parts sponsored by Bunda & the boss of course. *grin* Double joyousness for I went there while the bestie was still there.

That trip has too many wonderful moments I couldn't express them in words. I learned loads of things; be it prior or after the trip. And starting from that solo adventure too, I became obsessed in making my own itinerary.

Nowadays, I prefer doing everything from scratch. I enjoyed doing the whole process so much few friends requested my help to draft their itinerary as well. I made a treaty with myself that any travels in the future will have nothing to do with tour agent. There are thousand of bloggers out there that travel by this method. Hence I personally think their experiences & tips will be of great help for me to draft my own.

~ June 2012: London-Paris-Amsterdam ~ Alhamdulillah.

Can't wait for next week's trip with my girlfriends. Flashpacking trip it will be. My second attempt travelling in group, with a DIY itinerary. First time was during the Bali trip with my uni friends back in 2010. Insha Allah thing will go as planned. Even if it skidded, I will cherish the moment still. For it definitely is one of the many lessons & memories I gained throughout my travel.

p/s Some bugs were heard talking that solo trip of mine is nothing extravagant if to be compared with those who already walked around the globe. But hey, that is already big enough an achievement for me. My personal achievement it is. So if u're gonna say something like "Alah baru berjalan few countries kot...tapi sudah gebang lebih."; I wholeheartedly invite you to make your way out of this page. Thanks. *end of DramaQueen mode*

Random: Me Ranting!

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

I’m not in my bestest mood today. I’m not in that phase since yesterday. Body has been unwell. I performed my puasa qada’ yesterday but soon after the break fast, I vomited & followed by a severe migraine attack not long after. I ignored the pounding head & drove home. Alhamdulillah nothing bad happened on my way back.

I decided to wash my hair last night to lessen the throbbing pain. Drank few litres of plain water. Forced myself to eat since I had thrown out everything I consumed for break fast. I hit the sack pretty early. Woke up this morning feeling much lighter. But still I haven’t gain my appetite back.

Had breakfast at Bunda’s place; this time I skipped any dairy-based product to avoid vomiting. No creamer for my drink. Instead of the daily coffee, this morning I took plain tea for I know what it can do. As an anti-oxidant agent, it helps us cleanse the system.

A week more before my super long holiday. I pray the body will attain its healthiness before the trip. I can’t afford to get sick at a foreign country. I can’t afford to get sick for that will kill my mood to enjoy the holiday. I could be the most annoying person who you wished to not know; when I get sick. Because the drama queen side of me will certainly emerge at its peak during that time.

Thing happened at the cafe this morning didn't contribute anything good to my already aching head. As much as I tried to hold my anger, I finally vented out a few. Wings please come faster so I could wear u & fly right away.

Prosperous May: Of Movie & Holiday

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

Weekend passed by in a blink these days. We had Wesak public holiday on Fri but unfortunately I have to work the next day. Else it would have been a great 3 days work-free for Yours Truly. Never mind that for I got to watch super great movie last Sat night.  The Fast & Furious ain’t some ordinary film series; obviously. I followed the series since Tokyo Drift (Fast-3).

Yeah, I missed the two earliest parts. Wasn’t really into car racing & stuffs at that time I guess. To get to understand the whole plots of the movie, I downloaded all the previous parts the moment I got back from the cinema last Sat.

And yesterday, I was home all day. Completed my mission to watch the five previous parts. Satisfied.

*spoiler alert* Mr Jason Statham cameo in the last scene of Fast-6; the latest installment of the series had answered my question. Why did Han reappeared in Fast-5 because I thought he died after his car exploded in Fast-3.

Now that I got it all sorted out I reckoned Sean; the boy that Han trained in Tokyo will be in Fast-7. Together with the rest of the family, I think they will seek revenge for Han's death. My Handsome Jason will play the main antagonist. Thing I rather dislike! Well, another year to wait for the next installment.

On another story. I already start a bit of packing for my upcoming trips. Can hardly wait for the holiday to begin. I am like this; I prefer to pack my things a month prior any trip. Mainly to avoid panic attacks if I were to pack last minute. Of course this only apply to trip that will take more than three days.

I ain't backpacker nor traveller; I am in between those two. I read somewhere; I fall into the flashpacker category. Because I travel with means. I want a bit of comfort when I travel. I brought my gadgets hence I am not a backpacker. At the same time, I chose backpack rather than luggage so obviously I'm not a traveller. I don't makan mewah when I travel nor do I spend my moolah more on shopping. I prefer sightseeing but if things in the store worth buying, I won't hesitate to take them back home too.

Killing two birds at once doesn't harm; I only need to be wise in managing my financial when I'm abroad. In my previous travel trips; I noticed I rarely spent money on shopping. But for the next trip, I am planning on splurging for myself. Cheapskate planning to splurge? On food aku percayalah! We'll see the result later.

Prosperous May: Thing Happened For A Reason

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

Alhamdulillah Fuchy is back. No more dents; no more scratches; no more heart broken each time I glimpsed at her back. (Here for the story). Despite the dramas on reaching the person who hit her; everything settled smoothly yesterday. No police nor insurance was involved as the boy agreed to pay the repair cost himself. Bapa kaya, mak mentega I reckoned. Masih student pre-degree yet he drives a 4WD. Double cab lagi.

Untunglah...budak zaman sekarang memang super untung. Eh?

The 'small scratches' as per the kerani cabuk at the boy's school called it...cost nearly RM 500 to repair. Dapat new bumper...hikmah dilanggar. Sikit aku suruh kerani pensibuk tu yang keluar duit untuk bayar. Mulut suka suki cakap "Sikit jak pun ni". Pergh! Cuba try test aku langgar kereta kau; apa bunyi mulut kau  bakalan produce. Or u don't have a car; hence the insensitive comment? Erk! Mulut Bie!
Alang2 hantar Fuchy to the workshop, I took the chance to repair the damage I did at the front bumper. Yang tu incident few years back & cost of loss incurred by Yours Truly. Aku ni ndak busuk hati mau aniaya student tu. Mana yang aku buat, haruslah bikin sendiri.
Polishing. Extra work needed to smoothen the new paint. Ignore isi trunk gue.

And the most awaited purchased arrived safely last Tues. After nearly two months of waiting. Memang aku budget benda ni sampai before the trips in June. Cheapskate macam aku harus catu duit time bercuti2. Kalau boleh makan maggi everyday pun aku rela.
This mini portable rice cooker weighs less than 0.5 kg. Memang sangat sesuai bawa travel. I ordered the pink one but the colour was out of stock. Hence they replaced it with the black one; the only colour available. Siap text aku; tanya if its ok if they change my preferred colour to black. I was willing to wait for the pink but was then told its totally out of stock. Pasrah jak lah janji ada. Hitam pun cantik apa. Baik hati tuan kedai siap minta permission untuk tukar warna.
I am a happy customer! Siap ada bekas lain untuk lauk. Oh yeah! Been meaning to buy one since last year tapi semua yang Groupon or MyDeal offer ndak memenuhi citarasa. Berbaloi tunggu lama to finally be able to buy this. Thanks MyDeal for the super worthy deal.

By the way, this cooker boleh masak up to five cups of rice. Cukuplah kan untuk isi perut empat wanita tembolok di SK nanti.

Memories...don't die on me!

Up to this moment...I still can't believe I have set my foot upon Paris land.

Standing before the infamous tower in the world; Eiffel Tower

Looking forward for another solo trip this year end. I simply missed wandering around alone; getting lost & had no one to put the blame onto; talking to myself. Most importantly, during the trip I did a lot of self reflections. Muhasabah diri. Cari jalan untuk improve diri.

Kepala Angin

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

I started the week a bit gloomy. Perhaps, its a repercussions from last week. I had my menses on Fri & it only lasted for a day. And it came back on Tuesday. Stopped on Weds...and came again last night. Fluctuating cycle does affected my mood.

How did I start my week? Horrible. Full with anger & irritation. Everything seem so wrong from early in the morning. I don't blame anyone & I don't blame myself either. There's just too many things on my shoulder I needed more time & space to let them go. But boy I did wrong. I threw them all at once. Does 'holding too much I cannot endure any longer' is a perfect excuse?

I don't know why I tend to be extra sensitive these past few days. I don't recognized the word compromise anymore. I don't deal well to even the lightest aggravation. My heart itches to vented my anger every time thing didn't turned out the way I wanted it to be.

Yesterday, my resentment prolonged when Fuchy got hit. I just don't understand why people enjoyed knocking her bumpers. She was sitting idly on the parking lot for God sake. It would have been another hit & run for Fuhcy if the culprit wasn't chased by one of the uni staff. He tried to escaped but fortunately this staff whom I barely talk to saw the incident & quickly get on his bike...chased & warned the offender to come back to the cafe. Lucky he came back. Else; I would have made a police report as I already have the plate number & witnesses.

Thing happened for a reason I know. As much as I wanted to scream, I suddenly realized Allah made me went through this path to test me. With very very little patience left; I managed to hold back my anger. But that was only after I posted a status in my fb which I later regretted. And I removed the status few hours after getting my mind straight. Deal was made; I will send Fuchy to the workshop & that person will bear the cost.

I took his number & a picture of his driving license in case he ran away. When I found out that he is a student here, I feel sorry for him at first. As a student, the repair would cost him a bomb. But on second thought, I am glad this happened as I hope he will learn his lesson. He has to take responsibility for his actions. Never run away albeit how bad thing is.

This morning I sent Fuchy to the workshop. Headed to the cafe not knowing something more annoying awaited me. Things I dare not to be reminded. I decided to pour my anger by twitting. Mostly were rubbish. But I feel good instead of swearing; cursing...I have better way to channel out my frustration. Will be out of town tomorrow; to unwind the stress. Short getaway will do for now.

Buang Tabiat: Upside Down

I was on the verge of insanity early this morning.

Started it off a bit awry! Wanted to shout to show how annoyed I felt. But I passed up the idea. Simply because I don't want to embarrassed myself.

Tried diverting my attention to something else. It failed. Not only did I felt terrible; I felt more edgy. Stupidity has officially penetrated the system; I reckoned.

Came afternoon. Turned out the real cause for my mood transition is none other than the menses. It is that day of the month. U came few days early than the previous visit.

Prosperous Apr: The Magic of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

Not so Little update on Chompok's health.

Chompok was supposed to see the vet last Thurs but I purposely skipped the fourth visit after seeing there's not much improvement on his condition. On Weds morning, he vomited few strands of tapeworms. Lucky I followed him to the litter box when he vomited; else I won't know what had he threw out up until today. I brought the tapeworms to the vet & they were shocked when I showed them.

Continuous vomit & diarrhea; yet it never crossed their minds it might be cause by the most common amongst feline; worm infestation? The vet gave him another 7 injections(!!) on Weds. He was given the de-worm pill as well.

I decided to try my own method to treat him. Thanks to the technology, searching for information regarding his condition is pretty easy. There are lots of useful information can be found in the internet; as well as experiences from fellow cats' owners. They are beneficial to both human & animals. I thanked The Almighty; if it's not because of Chompok being ill...I wouldn't be bother to search & learn. It's not that I yearned for the children to be sick but I always believe thing happened for a reason. And I stand firm to my faith that Allah has better plan for me. Alhamdulillah.

Anyway, Chompok has stopped vomiting since Thurs. The diarrhea hasn't stop but it has lessen. His stool has become more solid; unlike few days back. All fluids. I learned from the internet that feeding a sick cat with apple cider vinegar (ACV) is also a solution. And so I bought a bottle from Con's Food. I added the ACV to the children's drinking water. 1 spoon of ACV + 3 cups of water. Because Chompok is still weak to drink by himself I used the syringe to feed him. At first, he rejected. Showing me every sign that he dislikes what I gave him. I massage his head & at the same time; injected the water into his mouth. Every time he struggles to get away from me; I hug & kiss him. Telling him to be strong & he needed to take what I gave him in order to be healthy again. After few times, he finally accepted the idea.

Two days of feeding on ACV, Chompok shows quite impressive improvements. He can jumped up the bed which he wasn't able to do before. He started to walk around the house albeit a bit slow & weak. This morning, I woke up to his meowed. Thing he never failed to do before. I am sure, in no time he will be back biting my fingers & toes. Also get stuck in between my hair; whenever he sleeps on my pillow. Insha Allah!!

Just want to share what I read from the web. ACV despite its smell form does have many benefits to human. One of them is to treat heartburn (gastric) & acid reflux.

As to animal...it contains vitamin, minerals & enzymes important for keeping them healthy. To get rid of fleas; add ACV to water & applied to the skin after bath. Adding it to the drinking water can ease the pain of arthritis & cease hot spots. It also keep kidneys stones from forming as well as to cure itchy skin on pets.

I added ACV in the childrens' water pot; Cheeloh seems to like the taste. He keeps coming back to drink. But its the other way round for Chombee & Corridor. They opted to drink from the kitchen sink; every time I opened the tap they will get into the sink. Few drops from the tap will do rather than having to drink the water with ACV; I guess. I introduced the ACV to Chomel using the syringe as she is one fussy queen. Thank God she loves being pampered like that. Drama queen memang macam tu! I have no worries for Cafe as he consumes everything I gave him.

Tomorrow I will bathed them all. Time to apply the traditional, natural & cheapest way I've learned from reading.

Prosperous Apr: Aja Aja Fighting Chompok!

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

*sigh* It all started last Sun night. Chompok vomited yellowish liquid at around 8-ish. At first I thought it was Chomel who vomited on my bed. But found out later when I saw Chompok at one corner of the dining area; coughing before vomiting. That; enough to break my heart.

He vomited every half an hour since then. I had a restless sleep that night as well. I woke up automatically every time he coughed. Chompok is such a dear little kitty. He knew I was sleeping on the bed, hence every time he feels like vomiting he quickly jumped from the bed. Albeit not as energetic like always...he jumped; still.

I brought him to see the vet early yesterday morning. The vet told me maybe he has consumed something such as insects (cockroach or lizard). The dormant protozoa in every cat's stomach unfortunately reacted to what he consumed causing irritation to his internal system. Hence the vomiting. The blood test also showed some of his red blood cells are no longer in normal shape; indicating the presence of parasites & bacteria.

Chompok has refused to eat nor drink. He looks extremely weak I nearly burst into tears upon seeing his droopy eyes. He was given six injections consisting of water, antibiotics, vitamin & God knows what. He was prescribed with a medicine to stop him from vomiting. But I didn't give him because he stopped vomiting after the injections. Chompok is a fighter. He didn't even fight back when the needles penetrated his skin. He sat still; while looking at me. I told him to get better asap so we don't have to see the vet again.

This was last night. Cheeloh showing his love to Chompok. Usually they will wrestle in between this session but for the time being, Chompok is just too tired & weak to play. I simply miss the playful him! No more sight of him jumping around whenever I fold my blanket in the morning. No one to play with my ponytail every time I combed my hair. Even Cafe misses him. Cafe has no one to play hide & seek with anymore.
This morning, I brought him to the vet for the second time. His body is dehydrating, so the vet gave him another shots like what he had yesterday. But today, he was given ten injections altogether.
During the eighth shot, Chompok tried to stand up & jumped from the table. Maybe he had had enough of the meds inside his body. Maybe he can't stand the sore anymore. I was advised to bring him again tomorrow.

I have decided, if he still haven't gain his health back...I will try the traditional way. Feed him with more santan. I did that to Cheeloh years back. When the vet told me there's no hope for Cheeloh to survive, I didn't give up & I brought Cheeloh home with tears. Alhamdulillah, after days of forcing him to swallow the santan...he gradually became healthy again. And he is still healthy until now. I will do the same to Chompok...I will try my best. I hope he will be strong enough to be healthy again.

If everything failed after trying, I wouldn't regret. For I know, I had tried my best & never once had I neglected my responsibility ever since I took him in months ago. Kakak prays for ur speedy recovery dear little darling!

Prosperous Apr: Study (공부)

Assalamualaikum. 안녕!

Back to my online Korean class after months of putting the lessons aside. I've completed until Level Newbie 2 already. I know it's still a long way to go but I will never give up.

Can't wait for June! Obviously I've been counting days since the day I got the flight ticket confirmed. The rest of the ladies in the upcoming trip assigned me as the guide. They seriously didn't know what they had gotten themselves into.

Bersamalah kita berayam itik di sana if suddenly I lost the confidence to converse. I could only uttered four words confidently...Hello (안녕하세요), Thank You (감사합니다), Sorry (미안) & I Know (알아). The rest, masih stuck di kerongkong. Sekian.

Buang Tabiat: Misi 10 Hari

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Alhamdulillah. I have secured a seat with AirAsiaX this evening. So much of planning for a family vacation I ended up being the only one(??) with a confirmed flight. This is what I dislike about online payment. Now, to whose shoulder should I put the blame on? Grrr. I pray hard there will be another promotion by the airline in the near future.

The fare now varies few hundreds from the fare that I paid. Late by only 20 minutes & the fare rocketed. Too much difference; Bunda & her sisters quickly waved the "Hold the purchase" flag. And that means the cousins are forced to agree as well.

The ticker says another 8 months before the winter trip...hence I will patiently wait for them to get their flight tickets. Dear AAx, please hold another promotion. Or just reduce the price in  few months from now.

It's rather devastating if I still have to go alone although I have been singing the words "another solo trip" quite a lot recently. We have planned to have this trip since last year thus the reason why I feel a bit regret if it didn't sail as planned. Phew...frustration phase it is at the moment.

To this I will let time decide. I have two more trips to focus on before I welcome December with a headache. Come to think of it; perhaps it's about time for me to wander alone again?? I was suppose to have my second solo trip to that country this June but three of the girlfriends decided to tagged along. As much as I long for my Me Moment, I know another ladies trip would be of great idea.

Experiencing the snowfall has always been in my wishlist. But playing the snow alone ain't fun at all. Yes? It never crossed my demented mind to experience winter alone. 혼자? Really NOT intriguing at all!

Yet, if all else fails I might then have to make myself ready with what Ms M told me just now.

Mulakan misi 10 hari mencari cinta di sana! Eh?

p/s Paling gila kalau bercutian secara solo di musim sejuk...paling susah mau selca ok. Tangan menggigil tu mau ambil gambar sendiri. Huuuuuuhuuuu.

CutiCuti: Johor-Singapore 2013

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

For the first time ever; I decided to do this. Pembentangan bajet cuticuti si Err. Few friends asked the budget for the trips I did before but I could only give them the estimated amount. With no breakdown like what u see below. Semua pun based on apa yang aku ingat.

Every time I went for a holiday, I did jot down the moolah I spent each day. But not all; specially part membeli terbelah. This year, the idea to make the budget list in a more proper order popped out. This idea does not originated from  my simple mind of course. Few of the bloggers who travel do this...haruslah aku buat based on blogs yang aku stalk, kan.

Hence, tersiaplah bajet for the recent trip I went. My first trip for this year. Next time kalau berhajat menjejak kaki ke sana lagi, I could easily refer to this already.

Ini cuma bajet kasar. Exclude segala makneka yang aku TERbeli; the souvenirs & bajubajan di JPO. For this trip, Bunda & a friend of mine tagged along. So teksi & hotel kami bayar secara kaedah berbahagi. Or what the Sabahan referred as patak2. Generally kalau aku solo berjalan masa tu, bajet memang akan kurang sebab si Err akan stay di hostel; sharing room with fellow backpackers.

Kalau kira2 dengan jitu pun, the total damage ndak lah sebegitu figurenya. The budget per person would be less than RM 1k I guess. Tip paling berguna for me so far; beli flight ticket masa promotion. BUT if the promo price cuma beza sikit from the normal price; sila berfikir  panjang & mendalam. Lagi & lagi. Sebab ada possibility, few months after promotion ended normal price ticket akan lebih murah dari promo.

Erm, this statement harus based on experience sendiri. Because I bought my flight ticket to Incheon during the promo season for RM 800+ sometime last year. Lepas tu cari penyakit hiris hati sendiri kunun few weeks after tu, aku saja belek web AirAsia. Search for the flight to Incheon again. Same date! Sekali gedebak keluar di screen; return ticket is only RM 552! Macam ada rasa mau tumbuk skrin si Asusi pun ada...luckily masa tu waras. Lantas set mood untuk hari tu; to super extreme bad day. Halfday muka aku macam baru dipenyek gajah ok! Sekian.

Anyways, the return ticket from KotaKinabalu to Senai cost me only RM 75.00. Sounded super murah & reasonable enough; hence the impulsive purchase. Siap beli untuk Bunda gitu; tiba2 murah hati sebab promo pun. Eh?

Prosperous Apr: NOT So-Little Cousin in Town

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

How time flies super fast these days. Not so little cousin came last Saturday (23 Mac) during the school holiday...and in a blink of an eye, we were already at the airport the next Sun (31 Mac). Sending her & the parents off to Kolumpur.

It's been a joyful one week for me to have her here. Ada teman tidur for a week in which si Cheeloh makan hati sebab terpaksa turun pangkat dari tidur atas favourite bantal. But being bossy that he is, he chose to sleep in between us both. Janji sama level...jangan di kaki; never his spot!

Anyways on her third day here, she followed me to the cafe. Lending hands at one of the gerai as well. Seeing her standing before me; all grown up. And sibuk melayan customer adalah scene paling sebak. Gone has the little girl who were too lazy to walk to her play school I had to piggybacked her. Thinking back, I guess she's the main reason of my singlehood. Saham merundum jatuh. Either orang ingat she is my daugher or worst; I am the amah.

Back then, she always bully me to watch & play Barbie with her. Now, it's my turn to bully. But my bully came with rewards. After two days sweating at the cafe, I brought her to SH. Kebetulan bonanza RM3 for every plate of sushi; regardless the color...selamat poket aku di situ.
We went to watch our beloved Mr Tatum as well. After months of not visiting the cinema, I finally broke my curfew last week. The second installation of G.I Joe wasn't that ummph as I've expected. Nevertheless, it's the bonding time with the cousin I treasured most.

She will be sitting for her PMR examination this year. Funny when I still think she's that little girl I used to hugged & kissed whenever I want to. Now, pandai malu ah. Not cool kunun kalau kena peluk or cium depan orang. Choii!! Dulu sikit punya clingy!! I can't wait for the exam to end. We planned for a holiday together this year end. Trip main snow di tempat Oppa-s kami.

Oh yeah; we share the same interest over K-thingy. Despite the gap of age. Sekian.

Buang Tabiat: Verangan

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Images courtesy of here.
Located in Takinoue Town; 2 hours away from Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
This park is easy to reach. Lots of guided tour available, as well. Best time to visit is suggested in mid May; in which during the Pink Moss Festival is held.

I dream of the pink moss park ever since Ms M told me about its existence. This is one of the place she wished to go...and somehow, has become my wish place too.

We're planning to visit the Land of The Rising Sun; spring next year. Can't say more about the upcoming plan with the girlfriends & boyfriends since we haven't purchase any flight ticket yet. Once the ticket part settled...immediately akan masuk gear 5 untuk rangka itenerary. Insha Allah, amin!

p/s Before that; next station will be to one of my most favorite country. Rangka jadual cuti sendiri adalah sangat puas hati & mencabangkan lebih banyak bunga2 chenta. Ngek.

Buang Tabiat: Post-weekend Mood!

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

I'm having the weekend rest deficiency syndrome at this current moment!!! I didn't get my most deserved rest this time hence the drama. Last Sat, I went to bed at 230a. Woke up way too early the next morning; that's yesterday. I was supposed to wake up another couple of hours but Angah piercing voice invaded my calm Sunday morning. Membebel non stop...ugh!

Yeah, Angah is in town. Pakcik & the not-so-little cousin tagged along this time. Surprise arrival kunun! She's here to settle matters regarding the house renovation in Telipok.  It's been a year since the renovation took place...yet, only 80% of the work has completed to date. The amount of money spent could be used to build another single-storey house. That's how lousy the contractors who have been appointed did their work. Tiga kali tukar sebab semua buat kerja macam ayam mati. Duit mau, kerja nan ado.

Fine, tujuan entri adalah untuk curhat ketidakselesaan diri. Oh God, how I long for the weekend to arrived early! 빨리와주세요! Friday will be a public holiday for Sabahan! Oh yeah, early weekend for yours truly. I think I need to do something with myself. Pembersihan jiwa. Sebab selalu rasa gelisah ndak tentu arah.

Monday blues caught me good this time. Tried hard to balance my fluctuating mood. Two of the workers didn't show up adding more stress to the already not so great mood. Or perhaps menses coming soon hence the unstable me. Hmm.

CutiCuti: Bye Johor until next time!

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

It's been excessively hot these past few days. Since last week. I can't bear the heat sometimes I stayed in the office right after Zuhr' prayer. The fan at each gerai at the cafe didn't help much. Alhamdulillah, after days of whining about the sweltering weather Allah let the rain pour yesterday evening. Continued until late last night.

Anyways, I've been meaning to update about my last day in Johor. My first getaway in 2013. Insha Allah, many to come later. But I was too exhausted after coming back from work. Poyo. This morning I managed to find my time to update; fortunately.

Ms. A left for Kolumpur by bus early in the morning. So there were only Bunda & I left in the room. We purposely woke up a bit late for I didn't plan any activity to do that day. I don't know but honestly, there's nothing in my itinerary related to exploring Johor except for JPO.
Had lunch at the restaurant located on the first of floor of the hotel's building. I forgot the name but it has got something to do with Le Safron I think. Bunda spent her time at this restaurant the night before; watching the last episode of Janji Shirah. A TV3 drama she followed from the start. Never missed a single episode of it. And we were forced to accompany her!

Tersengguklah dua-tiga kali di sana. Ngantuk. To make us stay, Bunda let forced us to order drinks & snacks. For God sake, we were already full due to the heavy dinner hours before that. I even had to visit the loo right after we came back from Spice7. Overloaded!
Paid RM15 nett for the breakfast buffet. The menu: Nasi Lemak, Fried Mee/Mee Hoon, Chicken Curry *which I think was reheat from last night menu*, orange juice, guava juice & hot drinks (coffee, tea). Bunda said ignore the price immediately after I frowned upon seeing the menu served.

"Last night, the waiter was so nice to me. He allowed me to watch the drama. So today we give back what we received. Breakfast on me".

Fine. Captain voiced out her arahan, I don't think I was able to disobey. Furthermore, memang kau cari penyakitlah kalau mau menapak cari kedai makan lain dengan perut kosong nyanyi dangdut kan Bie.
To justify the RM15...I decided to consume everything served. First, nasi lemak. Followed by the fried mee. And later the fried mee hoon. Perut tembolok gajah ntah mana aku simpan semua makanan tu. No wonder I gained few kilos after coming back from the holiday. Selalu berazam, makan berpada2 time bercutian. But so far memang fail ke laut. Right to the drain the resolution went.

Because it's still early, I suggested that we should go for some sightseeing around the city. I took a brochure at the hotel's reception. Stating places of interest to visit in Johor Bahru. I opted for the mosque & palace before proceeding to City Square Mall.
Took the taxi from the hotel to Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque.  The appearance took over the English Victorian architecture; with some minor Malay influence. The mosque situated on a hill overlooking the Straits of Johor. This mosque got its name after the Sultan Abu Bakar; who ordered the construction. Nothing much to see here. It's an old mosque currently undergoing some major reconstruction.
Classic window. Very the feel dulu2.

The ablution area located opposite the entrance.
Belakang masjid ada ciri moden di situ. Yang ni memang confirm baru jak recently built. Buat majlis resepi kahwin area macam ni pun best...luas & open. Hoi stop verangan please!

After the mosque, we walked to the palace. According to the taxi driver who drove us from the hotel, the palace is just a walking distance from the mosque. And since khidmat superwalkertapaki memang sudah biasa aku applied, jarak 1km tu macam petik jari. Riak? Bunda agreed to walk as well. Jalan punya jalan; dengan cuaca mendung angin nan ado bertiup...jalanraya bersebelah selat hence muka jadi cepat melekit...sekali sampai tepi palace; ada big signboard

"No Entry. Men at work".

Memang paling hangat asrama Bunda punya jelingan. After walking for merely 2km! Nasiblah si bulky Blackie ndak ku hangkut sekali masa tu. Nico was in Bunda's bag jadi memang ndak da aktiviti snap sambil berwalkertapaki. Mau juga aku snap muka istana yang tutup due to construction work tu tapi peluh jantan telah mengalir aku serius penat gaban. Apalah pakcik teksi tu langsung ndak tau palace tu tutup!! Since Bunda started complaining about her sore foot, we decided to just take a taxi in front of Johor Bahru Post Office to City Square Mall.
Right after we alighted from the taxi, perut terus berteriak mau makan di Ayam Penyet Ria. Ha ndak gila ayat orang tembolok. Habis sudah semua breakfast aku bertukar tenaga; guna masa walkertapaki tu. Jadi perlulah isi tenaga kembali.
Favorita! Lele @ ikan keli Penyet!! It wasn't easy to find ikan keli in KK. Kalau ada pun, saiz cinonet. Besar lagi tapak tangan aku. Memang makan ndak da ampun ever since we arrived Johor Bahru. Tolak pasir batu jak aku ndak telan. Mulut munching non-stop.
Tegar sungguh impian untuk pigi mall ni for the second time. Semua gara2 these Korean shops lah! Bought few things at NR corner. The prices are slightly cheaper in the West compare to Sabah.

After City Square, we went to the opposite building. The newly built Johor Bahru Sentral. It is link to the CIQ Immigration. Convenient enough for those staying in Johor Bahru & intended to visit Singapore at the same time. From CIQ boleh naik CW1 bus to Woodland. We didn't spend much time there, tengok kedai apa yang ada. Nama pun baru so ndak da sangat yang menarik jiwa. We then went back to Tune Hotel by taxi. Lepas solat & touch up bagai...off we departed for the airport.
Senai International Airport; the Air Asia drop luggage counter. As we arrived 2 hours early than the departure time, aktiviti isi perut bermula sekali lagi. Masa ni malas sudah mau bergambar bagai. I bought a slice of blueberry cheese cake from SR for tea. Tapi hangkut masuk food court sebab Bunda menjamu laksa di situ. Speaking of "eat like I care about the weight scale".

Masuk boarding area...sayup jauh di luar tingkap aku nampak awan hitam berkupal2 datang. I told Bunda our flight definitely going to be delayed due to the weather. And not long after, announcement was made. Memang delay sebab kapal dari KK pun ndak dapat take off. Strong wind.

After the incident flying with easyJet from Schipol to London, aku memang ndak ambil port part berkeluh kesah kalau flight delayed disebabkan cuaca. Biarlah sampai berjam lambat janji aku ndak naik roller coaster di atas sana. Ngeri ok! Daratan langsung ndak dinampak, tapi kapal naik turun. Most valuable experience ever! Three bored-hours waiting; we finally boarded the plane. Arrived KK town ten minutes past midnight. No turbulence whatsoever...landing sangat smooth. Alhamdulillah, aku tidur super lena during the two hours flight.

Standing proudly before the handsome Bee! Kenangan terindah di USS.

My trip to Johor Bahru & Singapore came to its end; finally. Too many sweet & bitter memories created during this getaway. Nonetheless, I cherished them to the utmost. Praying for more trip with Bunda.

Ouh, the ticker indicates another three months to go! Ngeh. Sila stop segala aktiviti online shopping Bie...focus in saving. Two trips in three months time! Memang melampau.

Prosperous Mac: My HotaHei!

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Alhamdulillah. My multicolor HotaHei has arrived yesterday afternoon. Such a beautiful deary she is! Perfect way to cheer me up after sweating half day at the cafe. Drama enough? Let me be!

Perfecto! Just like how I imagined her to be. Multicolour is so gonna be my choice this year. Bunda loves it too. Her eyes sparkles when I showed her the multi-pink bag I've ordered for her. But in the end she said:

"If it worth more than RM500...let go. Use the money & bring me jalan2 instead."

Amboi...penyakit berjalan si anak bertuah sudah terjangkitkah? Nice Bunda...macam tau jak, u're my ultimate favourite travel buddy!

The label inside the bag, should be an identification number with No- followed with four numbers after the dash. Coach stamp should be neatly printed & in English. Fuh!! Gigih google how to differentiate between the genuine & fake one. Ngek! Nampak sangat first time beli handbag ada2. Kin malu.

Manalah tau; sometimes ada e-shop applied kaedah menipu secara halus. Alhamdulillah, Eat Sleep Shop (here) has earned my trust! They responded quite fast to my order. And they shipped my HotaHei a day after I settled the payment. Definitely gonna keep my eyes on this e-shop in the future. Erk?? Bukan kau cakap no more after the Bunda's kah Bie? Sila lah sila telan cakap sendiri ah after this.

Me: If mau tau it's fake or not...tengok tu zip. If it's YKK, then itu memang 100% original.
Bunda: Memanglah. My Bonia bags semua pun zip YKK.

See?? Kesian kan sama diri sendiri!!! Action kunun depan Bunda...sekali pulang paku buah keras. *kaitan?* Ada hati tembirang sana sekali Bunda knows MORE than u lah, young lass!!!

Buang Tabiat: Not a disease...YET!

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Lately...otak bingai. Huh!
Mata berdarah. This is the kind of pink I couldn't resist. Simple design that makes me sleepless for nights! Thinking...contemplating...comparing the pros & cons. Drama sungguh poyo!

The new trend I supposed. Multi colour fabric. I immediately fell in love with it when Ms M sent me a picture of a Hobo bag of the same brand. Roughly similar pattern & colour; only size is different.

For the record, I was never a fan to designer bag before...and never thought I would buy one for myself. Although it's not as expensive as LV or Prada...but; still! Before ni, beli Guess or Elle or CarloR pun sudah rasa super mahal ok! When it comes to handbag thingy; I am that stingy. And calculative! Enough said.

I'm not quite sure what 2013 has done to my hormone. Just that I pray hard I won't be in the same league as Ms M & Ms. F. The ultimate 'crazy' handbag addicts. I shall put the blame on their shoulders for it was them who spread the disease to the innocent me. Kaedah lari dari rasa guilty; maka harus blame orang lain.

Looking for a crossbody bag for quite sometimes already...and ended up purchasing something I never thought I would splurge my money onto. Once in a while is alright; I told myself in order to justify the impulsive purchase.

Penat kerja kumpul duit apa salahnya pamper diri. Kunun!! Jadi alasan kau short getaway bagai untuk unwind after kerja keras tu apa? Treeetettttt! Ok sila doa seteguh hati jangan jadi addict Bie!!!
