Prosperous Feb: Cuti Empat Hari

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Oh yeah...dengan rasmi boleh lekat tanda "Boring Lady" sudah di dahi aku. Cuti empat hari aku kasi langsai sehabis kudrat. Rightttttttttt.

On Saturday, I spent the whole day at home! Bagus jugalah decision aku ndak mau jalan pigi mana² because I managed to complete few chapters of my Hanguk lessons. Kalau merayap sana sini lagi banyak aku melebur duit nanti. Malam tu download few of UKE's latest talks. Yay, ada bahan baru mau didengar dalam kereta.

And on Sunday, I managed to force my lazy bum to go out. Initial plan was to drive to Ranau with Ms Z. But Icha's mom tagged me in IG, informing about Icha's kenduri cukur jambul. Hence, we changed plan. Meriah sikit cuti aku yang hambar sebab kemalasan diri sendiri.

Berbaju kurung untuk attend dua kenduri. Donning the tudung I bought from sugarscarf. Super like the material...also the corak. Ndak pernah meroyan suka tudung express. Ni kalilahhh!

Pagi tu before naik Ranau, singgah dulu tempat Ms. K in Tuaran. Ndak sempat kami join berzanji & gunting jambul semua sebab kesuntukan masa. Yang penting, dapat jumpa sekejap. Update cerita semasa.

Adat kalau datang kenduri. Before balik, kena jamu perut biar sedikit. Menjaga hati tuan rumah, juga supaya orang yang mau jalan jauh macam kami...ndak kempunan. 

Selesai di Tuaran, we drove up to Ranau. Alhamdulillah selamat pergi & kembali. Albeit the gloomy weather...hujan sekali sekala. Tujuan utama mau jumpa Ms P yang berkurun kami ndak jumpa. Alang² dijemput to his lil bro's wedding reception. Sambil menyelam, minum air. 

Hidangan kami serba unik di sana. Nasi bungkus dalam daun ntah apa...it's purple. Beras pulut + ubi manis. My fav dish pun ada. Memang makan ndak hengat! Aku balun daging dari pagi sampai malam...

As a result, I had to cancel the plan to attend my cousin's wedding yesterday evening. I vomited almost everything I consumed soon after I reached home from Ranau. Cholesterol overload. Sesak dada tahan mual. Belum campur rasa minyak geli² di tekak. Serve me right! Makan ndak pernah beringat. Balun jak semua yang dihidang depan mata. Sudah lemah longlai baru menyesal bagai.

Having said that, yesterday aku berehat di rumah. Detoxified my system. By late evening, sudah beransur sihat. Lepas withdraw berkali² baru rasa lapar gila. Tapi harus makan dengan berhemah. 

To conclude my four days holiday...I went out after Zohor just now. Bawa si Chombee ni melawat Bunda's place in Sepanggar. Dari pagi bising meow non stop depan pintu, gian mau outing lah tu. So I brought him out, ambil udara luar. Sampai kedai...buat perangai mengada ndak mau jalan bagai. Chis! 

Tomorrow kena bangun awal. Fuh betapa malas diri ini! Luckily another three days before the weekend. Next week insya Allah tiba masa cuti release stress! My first out of KK town holiday in 2013. Yiihaa!!

Wonderful Jan: Luncheon Date

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Oh yeah, finally aku berjaya menjadi sang Penangguh paling tegar! Pegang title & sudah sign agreement sampai mati. Paling berzaman mau update. Malar masuk draft folder. 

Last week, ada acara luncheon with the YS girlfriends. Sempena masuk tahun 2013; kira ni first get together kami. Kizzy sudah kerja balik after her 44 days so called berpantang. As usual kalau kami jumpa, jam berputar super laju. Ntah apa jak isi cerita. Macam² topik dicover. 

Apa yang penting, dalam sibuk kami sama urusan harian...and diorang plus urusan rumahtangga lagi, kami tetap cari masa untuk jumpa. At least once a month. Over lunch pun ndak pa. Apart from facebook & instagram; ndak lah kami totally depends on technology for updates kan.

On the first day of 2013, I uploaded a photo of me dining at Sushi King. Kizzy commented & asked are the meals serve suit her tastebuds. Since si Mama Icha tu ndak pernah lagi makan di situ, Zai & I planned to just bring her there. Alang² tunaikan permintaan dia dari penat memikir mana mau mentekedarah. Daia yang last aku jumpa on her wedding reception last year; joined us as well.

Macam aku yang baru habis pantang! Diorang suka bawa aku keluar time aku sangat masam. As in, masa aku sangat ndak bercomel. Kalau tau lunch bersama, harus aku pakai ala ayu...touch up sikit. Ini muka togel gila bah dibawa keluar. Al kisah memang make-up case aku stay di rumah sepanjang masa. Hatta secalit bedak tiada di muka...apalagi segaris eye-liner. Sungguh tiada natural beauty ya hence sibuk gebang pasal touch up bagai. Harap maklum.

Ini tidak adil...tidak adil...tidak adil bagiku. See those three ladies. Berbaju kurung sungguh ayu. Semua imej ala korporat...si Err juga imej macam makcik jual rokok di pasar. Huhu saiko oii. Sila bersyukur seadanya jangan komplen itu ini. Salah siapa sendiri kunun mau sempoi kalau pigi cafe? Erk?!

Anyway, the ever brilliant moi accidentally deleted the previous post titled; From Chichil to Chompok. Sudahlah jarang & susah mau update, sana lagi mempintarkan diri men-delete bagai kan Bie. Memang paling sekian perangai kau.

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

It’s the second day of a brand new year. Or is it the fifth day already? Fine, I've put this entry in the draft folder for three busuk days! 

Anyways, nothing quite interesting happened as yet. I had sushi luncheon date with Bunda yesterday before we headed to Angah’s house in Telipok. Right, am not going to story-telling about what I did on the new year. 

Pictures below taken few days before 2012 ended. Literally telling how I spent my last three days in 2012. Be warned, this entry is loaded with too many pictures.

On the evening of the 29^th, I attended one of my close guyfriend's wedding reception at One Borneo ballroom. Went there with the Rio's. Harus car pool sebab Ms G pity me who have to drive all the way from Beverly; alone. Told her many times already...do not show too much love for I tend to take that for granted. Huh?!

I personally love this customized magazine. Photos during their pre-wed photoshoot are printed in this magazine-like album. Hmm...nanti time aku, macam mau tiru ni konsep. Tettt. The doorgift was filled with my favourite ferrero chocs! Makan time² tu juga ah.

Bunting I super like, too! Semualah bah like kan Bie. Yang attract aku haruslah the color! Such sweet combinations; white & pink & black.

Us ladies & the children. Friends from my diploma years. 

The newly wed. Yeah the groom finished that drink in the jug; in one shot! Not the one in the glass ok! Enough to tell us how happy he is for getting hitched.

We were seated at the back; near the entrance door. Hence no pictures with the pengantin at the stage. Nor there are pictures during the cake cutting ceremony. Too lazy to drag my lemak-full ass to the stage area.

Gambar solo adalah perlu. Loving my peplum dress I bought online from Colourcyle*Boutique. I shall get rid of those fats residing in my arms & tummy asap! Putting this dress on, I tend to hunch more in order to hide the drawers at the belly area. Ok kenapa perlu suddenly promo peplum bagai?! And kutuk lemak sendiri? Ugh.

Congratulations to both of u. Thanks for inviting. I pray for ur marriage be filled with happiness, many good fortunes & blessings.

On the 30^th, we had a simple bbq at Olumis Pogun. Official name for Syl+Unang'snew home. It was a double celebrations; in commemoration to the year end & house warming. Jackie & husband who went back to Sabah for their Christmas holiday joined us as well. It's not like everyday we could meet each other like that.

A place called home. Congrats!

Buat busy padahal the lady who went down to KK all the way from Tenom; did all the cooking. We only helped with the preparation. 

Guys did what they do best? Kerja panggang memanggang definitely serah sama diorang. 

We had the exchange gift session as well. Simply to make the evening merrier. 

And of course 'hadiah masuk rumah baru' as we called it. Happy hostess she is. "Ndak payah sudah beli ni...ni...ni"

This goes to the frame. 

We parted quite early that evening as Yours Truly still need to work the very next day.

I didn't do anything special on new year's eve either. Stayed at home with Bunda; layan aktiviti solo. Me with my Kdrama marathon (again??) through the lappy...and the Madam stick in front of the tele till midnight. We ain't into the countdown kinda thing so; staying at home is always the best. Ndak stress stuck in traffic jammed...because road blocks were everywhere that night. As what I've been told.

Edisi: Old Friends

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Wah sudah masuk tahun baru. Azam last year alhamdulillah ada yang berjaya aku langsaikan...tapi sebenarnya banyak lagi yang belum terlaksana. Tetttttt! Baru halfway executed, lepas tu lupa diri. Entah bila ni mau sedar diri untuk jadi lebih baik. *insaf*

Anyways, salam Maal Hijrah kepada saudara seIslamku! Moga tahun ini membawa seribu kebaikan & redha dari Nya. Lebih baik dari tahun² sebelumnya. Insya Allah. Mau selalu dapat hidayah dari Allah silalah sibukkan diri untuk dekat dengan Nya. Jangan Islam hanya pada nama...yang lain kena seiring ya Bie!

On another note. My darling besties; Dayang & Yang came down for the holiday. Dayang came with her husband while Yang came with her two heroes. Alhamdulillah despite the heavy rain on Thurs' morning, they landed safely. Dayang arrived few hours earlier than Yang. Thus she helped Yang to check-in the hotel room.

Ini bukan kebiasaan. Indeed it's very rare to see Adam *in white shirt* so willingly to be snapped. That Drama King of a boy is very hard to please ya. Bila dia sudah masuk air & suruh snap gambar with different poses, harus aku ndak lepas peluang.

Both heroes were beyond excited upon entering the room. Budak² kan, senang jak mau beli jiwa diorang. Lepak dalam bilik hotel pun diorang berabisan happy. Oh damn, how I miss those carefree life! 

We had dinner at Grace*Point, Sembulan on the first night. Hentam telan Korean dishes ah. Yang even said "Confused lah ada kat Sabah ke Korea sekarang ni". With the drizzling & breezy air...ada serupa feeling springlah kunun kan.

The main point they came down to KK was for the mini reunion gathering. UiTM - Diploma in Science* batch 2000-2003. Although only few of us managed to come...we had fun catching up with everyone. Some of us had never met since we left the university. So yeah, it was indeed a great get together. Lepak², cerita². Tapi harus rugi banyak sebab ntah apa penyakit aku kelupaan mau ambil gambar. 

Meeting Sari's handsome boyfriend; Reza for the first time. She is now preganant with her second baby. Produktif sungguh kawan² gue ya.

It's raining...and sebab malas, we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant on their last night here in KK. Jimat masa & tenaga. Tapi bazir RM di situ. Alah bukan selalu dine di hotel. Trip tourist ndak habis² kan kalau kau Bie. Once in a blue moon, harus treat sang perut something special. Walau almost everyday kot kau melantak macam ndak pernah makan kan Bie kan!

Adek & his drama. Buat bunyi rengek for less than 5secs, pastu pamer cheeky smile. Geram! Perlu tarik perhatian Ibu kan...

Macam tau² jak kan diorang akan balik early the next day. Adek terlebih pamer aksi manja sama Aunty Bibie. He requested to sit on my lap twice. Jarang² budak kecil ni mau beramah mesra sama aku. Selalu susah betul mau dekat. He has developed the comfy feeling towards me, as per Yang said. Alhamdulillah, ndak lah diorang memanjang meng-alien-kan aku. Ngeh.

12 years of friendship. We have had our own bittersweets, ups & downs. Arguments & whatnots. Yet we managed to endure every hardship; live with it & move on. Beautiful souls in my life; one of Allah's countless gifts for me. Syukran Allah!

Yang & lil perwiras left KK early in the morning. Memang superwomen kami pagi tadi. Woke up late.  Like really late! Lucky I was awaken by the alarm sound. Kalau ndak, memang super kejadian macam aku tinggal flight tu hari akan repeat kan. Barulah betul macam Yang cakap, jangkitan penyakit si Bibie. Huhu. Pity the kids kena paksa bangun awal. Budak² bolehlah naik flight without taking their bath & berdandan sana sini. Cuba kalau yang tua bangka, harus bau tilam bagai. As to quote Dayang.

After bidding goodbye & hugskisses...I went home straight away. Sambung tidurlah kan. I spent the whole night bercerita sama minah dua orang tu. Tu pasal sampai terlajak tidur. Woke up at 10a...went to Gaya St with Bunda. Had breakfast with her. Sempat menyumbang duit lagi...reason why I hate going out in the weekend. Mesti ada jak aku membeli terbelah. Plan untuk saving terus ke laut! 

p/s Looking forward for more meet-up with them! Missing the kiddos already.

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

Lately, hati gatal gila macam mau digaru² to explore South Korea land once more! I missed the promotion that AA did last month. Dayyum! Feel like banging my head on the wall when I saw the expensive fare. 

My first trip to South Korea early this year didn't quite satisfy me. Although I did enjoyed myself because it's my first ladies trip...masih ada lohong dalam dada. Four days exploring the city definitely not enoughlah kan. Too many must-go places tertinggal. Nama pun first time, schedule pun Lisa yang buat. Aku tau beli flight ticket jak. Kerja lain memang entirely depends on her. Pastu bingai sendiri sebab ndak buat research of places yang patut taruk dalam list. 

I guess those places I didn't get to visit at that time could be the solid reason for my intention to repeat the trip! Kali ni with the Sabahan ladies. Insya Allah, if things went as planned...akan ku jejak sekali lagi. 

Sekarang gigih buat itineraries; atur itu atur ini. Survey itu survey ini. Tinguk dari jauh macam busy gila buat kerja...walhal bertrip busy jak lebih. And now, we're hoping AA will be generous to held another promotion. Memang zoom beli kalau dapat murah. No hesitation lagi macam hari tu. Kunun return RM800 mahal, sekali in the end dapat yang dekat RM1k++++. Terlampau banyak songeh baru padan muka!

Anyways, to fulfill some of Ms. G's curiosity...here are few snippets of the places we're gonna visit. Yang memang obviously aku pun belum jejak! 

Cheonggyecheon Stream. Ernie told me about this stream before but I didn't bother to google about it. Ingatkan only wujud at one place; rupanya panjang 5.84km ah. At my first night there, I went out to the midnight market at Dongdaemun. Passed by one of the bridges...siap posing ambil gambar. Yet I have no idea that is the stream. Sekianlah kan perangai. Campak lombong. 

Cheonggye Plaza. Hari tu cuma nampak masa on the way balik to the airport. Sayup² jak kelihatan sebab bus on the move kan. 

Rainbow Fountain Banpo Bridge. I have yet to figure out the exact direction to reach this bridge. The rainbow fountain could only be enjoyed in the evening. Jadi harus sampai bridge tu after Maghrib. Lepak di pedestrian walk tu pun macam cun juga.

Itaewon Mosque. Niat untuk solat sini cancelled sebab kami sampai Itaewon malam sudah. Seharian jalan jauh, lepas dinner at one of the Turkish restaurant...semua jadi sleepy. Memang automatik ndak sanggup menapak daki bukit lagi because this mosque situated nun di atas sana. Silently I told myself, next time jejak sini mesti singgah masjid ni! Solat sekali ah Bie, bukan kau trip bergambar depan masjid jak!

Yangpyeong English Village. Fuh, by just looking at the picture above pun orang boleh teka kot kenapa aku beria mau pigi village ni. Biarlah journey berjam² to reach this place...janji dapat tengok classroom JiHoo sunbae! Also few spots where Boys over Flower was filmed. Boleh imagine sudah betapa aku akan getek habis meter!

Asia's larget underground mall. Biar shopping bukan main agenda tapi ndak salah bah meronda 'beli tingkap'. Dapat juga cuci mata sekali meninguk saeng-gin namja. Bukan selalu!

Alang² sudah sampai COEX better singgah muzium ni. Situated inside the mall, no problem kot mau singgah masuk. Lagipun mesti best dapat belajar sejarah favorite junk food aku ni. Favorite sangat walhal mula tau pasal kimchi pun since gila sama Kdrama!! Choi!

Gyeongbokgung Palace. The main & largest palace of the five grand palaces in South Korea. Hari tu memang ndak sempat langsung mau jejak to any of the palaces there. Kunun balik dari Nami Island mau lah singgah. Yet, bukan rezeki lagi untuk melawat masa tu. Another reason to repeat, yes?! Currently there are two palaces in my list, ndak tau nanti bertambah ka ndak time di sana. Last minute modification of itinerary...something to be expected kalau travel in group.

This cafe is located somewhere in Apgujeong area. Since area tu selalu crowded sama socialites, aku bajet mesti koyak poket kan kalau bertrip mau shopping or makan sana. Hence, dapat singgah coffee shop ni sudah lebih dari cukup. Korbanlah sikit kWon demi memuaskan hati si Err untuk jejak this shop. Padahal memang ada sebab super utuh mau datang! Mesti datang! Biar ndak nampak Kyuhyun-ssi janji dapat masuk cafe yang related to him. P to the Yo!

*clearing throat* Paling mau pigi...KBS & MBC buildings. Manalah tau nasib super baik & cerah terjumpa OppaS terchenta. Pingsanlah kan kalau tiba² yang dinanti berjalan depan mata. Fuh, tarik nafas ndak mau hembus weii!
