Pagi ni bangun tanpa rasa mau rushing ka apa. Memang langsung tiada plan untuk bertamu di Kianggeh. Yang aku tau, harini mesti balik KK. Mesti!
So before pi cafe untuk breakfast, aku remind lagi sekali sama receptionist pasal hotel payment tu. That I will pass the $10 balance to the driver once I've change my money at the ferry terminal. On my way to the cafe, I heard the driver asked the receptionist what's with the $10 thingy.
While I was having breakfast the driver approached me. And suddenly dia hulur $10 note.
"What is this for Bang?"
"The balance u have to pay the hotel. Take it. We're Muslims. Today is your day. Who knows esok lusa my day pula. Please accept it, for the sake of Allah."
Literally I was speechless. I couldn't say anything but thank you! Like, really am thankful! Rasa mau peluk Abang tu. I was deeply touched by his kindness. Stranger I am to him but he didn't hesitate to help me. To quote him, for the sake of Allah. Subhanallah!
Well $10 might be little amount to certain people, but it means everything especially for someone yang memang sangat perlukan duit at that time *pointing all fingers to Yours Truly*! Aku continue habiskan sarapan dengan senyuman lebar meleret. Pastu sempat interview staff di cafe tu lagi.
Owner hotel adalah Malaysian. And most of the employers are from different countries i.e Indonesia, Phillipines. Memang staff tu puji bos dia melangit tinggi. Accommodation ada, transport ada. Paling staff tu berterima kasih sebab bos tu memang hire diorang yang dari family yang kurang berkemampuan.
No wonder staffs hotel ni semua humble, down to earth & layan guest dengan baik. Dapat bos yang jaga kebajikan pekerja. Tiadalah macam staff certain hotel(s) tu, tengok guest atas bawah. Siap mencebik. Kalau dapat guest yang dressing kebabom, terus senyuman sampai telinga. Kalau boleh bersambung sampai belakang kepala. Cis! Ok sila abai kisah sombong.
