Wonderful Jan: Kpop! Ngek!

I listened to their music ever since The Boys; their single in 2011 came to my hearing sometime Nov, last year. I fell in love with the music...and eventually the girls. Nine very hardworking & pretty young lasses. I started reading their stories after their debut. Ain't gonna called myself one of the Sone as yet though I listened to their songs almost every day. Not to forget youtube-ing their MVs.

Because those mellyjelly so-called cute-ish kinda songs are never my taste. Unfortunately, most of the girls' songs are like that.

So-nyeoh Shidae latest single; I Got A Boy...really showed that the girls have matured through the years. Regardless what others say...yang penting aku suka lagu tu. And yeah, MV adalah super comel. With that PINK background, shall I say more?

Wonderful Jan: Friday Night

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

It's been a while since I last had an evening out with friends. I almost forgot how the famous Gaya Street looks like at night. In the weekdays to be more specific. Thanks to Ms U for bringing up the idea to dine at one of the most-talked cafe in town. Party*Play; Life Style Cafe. Ms G & I have been planning to come to the cafe's branch in Luyang since last year. But we never got the chance to execute the plan due to family & work commitment. 

Alhamdulillah, wish came true last Friday. Ms J & the husband will be going back to Kolumpor on Saturday hence we took the chance to meet up the day before their departure. I went there after work; fortunate enough it's the exam month. Less students came to the cafe so I got to go back early. 

Cut the story short...the husband & wife had to leave early for they had another makan session with her in laws. It's their last night in KK; everyone seem to want to bid goodbye to them. Kenalah divide masa dengan saksama. 

Because I acted bloody brilliant that day...kenalah satisfied ambil gambar guna camera hape jak. Brought the camera with me but the memory card is still attached to the lappy at home. What a bummer! Lucky me! Miss Sam has pretty reliable night shot option. See the results below. Less editing job done but they look clear enough. Sharp lagi. 

My dinner; black pepper lamb chop, marvelous chocolate dessert & lemon pink. Grateful I am for the food Ya Rabb! But too big a portion for me, I guess next time if I were to dine here I'll have to share. Only the lamb NOT the dessert. Sedap gila I'm craving for it at this very moment ok!

Muka puas hati...food is good, ambiance as well. They have live band performing after 9p. Not sure if it's on daily basis or only in the weekend. As Friday night considered as the beginning of a weekend, right? 

Anyway, I have sealed a deal with my diet program. Am gonna splurge on food twice in a month; which I called it Cheat Day. This will only be executed in the weekend though.

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong.

It’s the second day of a brand new year. Or is it the fifth day already? Fine, I've put this entry in the draft folder for three busuk days! 

Anyways, nothing quite interesting happened as yet. I had sushi luncheon date with Bunda yesterday before we headed to Angah’s house in Telipok. Right, am not going to story-telling about what I did on the new year. 

Pictures below taken few days before 2012 ended. Literally telling how I spent my last three days in 2012. Be warned, this entry is loaded with too many pictures.

On the evening of the 29^th, I attended one of my close guyfriend's wedding reception at One Borneo ballroom. Went there with the Rio's. Harus car pool sebab Ms G pity me who have to drive all the way from Beverly; alone. Told her many times already...do not show too much love for I tend to take that for granted. Huh?!

I personally love this customized magazine. Photos during their pre-wed photoshoot are printed in this magazine-like album. Hmm...nanti time aku, macam mau tiru ni konsep. Tettt. The doorgift was filled with my favourite ferrero chocs! Makan time² tu juga ah.

Bunting I super like, too! Semualah bah like kan Bie. Yang attract aku haruslah the color! Such sweet combinations; white & pink & black.

The newly wed. Yeah the groom finished that drink in the jug; in one shot! Not the one in the glass ok! Enough to tell us how happy he is for getting hitched.

We were seated at the back; near the entrance door. Hence no pictures with the pengantin at the stage. Nor there are pictures during the cake cutting ceremony. Too lazy to drag my lemak-full ass to the stage area.

Gambar solo adalah perlu. Loving my peplum dress I bought online from Colourcyle*Boutique. I shall get rid of those fats residing in my arms & tummy asap! Putting this dress on, I tend to hunch more in order to hide the drawers at the belly area. Ok kenapa perlu suddenly promo peplum bagai?! And kutuk lemak sendiri? Ugh.

Congratulations to both of u. Thanks for inviting. I pray for ur marriage be filled with happiness, many good fortunes & blessings.

On the 30^th, we had a simple bbq at Olumis Pogun. Official name for Syl+Unang'snew home. It was a double celebrations; in commemoration to the year end & house warming. Jackie & husband who went back to Sabah for their Christmas holiday joined us as well. It's not like everyday we could meet each other like that.

A place called home. Congrats!

Buat busy padahal the lady who went down to KK all the way from Tenom; did all the cooking. We only helped with the preparation. 

Guys did what they do best? Kerja panggang memanggang definitely serah sama diorang. 

We had the exchange gift session as well. Simply to make the evening merrier. 

And of course 'hadiah masuk rumah baru' as we called it. Happy hostess she is. "Ndak payah sudah beli ni...ni...ni"

This goes to the frame. 

We parted quite early that evening as Yours Truly still need to work the very next day.

I didn't do anything special on new year's eve either. Stayed at home with Bunda; layan aktiviti solo. Me with my Kdrama marathon (again??) through the lappy...and the Madam stick in front of the tele till midnight. We ain't into the countdown kinda thing so; staying at home is always the best. Ndak stress stuck in traffic jammed...because road blocks were everywhere that night. As what I've been told.

I can't wait to go home...and play with the children. Forever my stress reliever. Looking at their pictures while being at the cafe make me miss them more.

Will buy something for them on my way back from work later. Rewards for behaving well this week.

p/s Pictures of the cat bonsai I saw in fb recently really break my heart. How could human be that cruel, heartless?!?

Assalamualaikum. Annyeong!

1. Semoga kita sentiasa dilimpahi dengan berkat & redha dari Yang Esa. Insya Allah, amin! 
2. Semoga aku kurang mengeluh - perangai yang dari zaman dulu kala mau dibasmi tapi selalu gagal. Kurang mencuba; sangat sangat sangat less effort sebenarnya.
3. Semoga aku lebih memahami & mengamalkan konsep 'bersyukur dengan apa yang diberi' - selalu lupa diri, baru diuji sikit laju jak lupa segala nikmat & rezeki melimpah ruah yang sudah Allah bagi.
4. Semoga mampu tahan marah - Alhamdulillah yang ni aku berjaya control ever since aku tanam azam yang super bersungguh ni.
5. Semoga sentiasa mau menjadi lebih baik. Sentiasa mau belajar ilmu baru. Sentiasa mau mencari keampunan dari-Nya. Sentiasa berusaha menjadi muslimah solehah.

Banyak lagi azam yang ditanam; insya Allah akan cuba sebaik mungkin untuk capai. New year resolutions ni selalu aku tulis dalam buku magika masa Awal Muharam. Alhamdulillah, yang ni aku cuba amalkan since last three years. Masih diteruskan up till now.

2012 meninggalkan seribu satu kenangan sama aku. Pahit. Manis. Asam. Tawar. Syukur! Allah masih bagi peluang aku rasa semua tu. Syukur! Masih ada peluang untuk bernafas di bumi Nya. 

Aku berdoa semoga diberikan peluang untuk bertaubat. Peluang untuk aku membersihkan hati. Juga peluang untuk appreciate sebanyak mana keindahan alam ciptaan-Nya. In order words; may I be granted more opportunities to travel & see the world. *mata berkelip². 

Unlike last year, I posted an entry that listed down those beautiful things that happened to me throughout 2011. This year....aku plan buat something else. Wait & see.
