Assalamualaikum. 안녕.
As said in my previous entry; we departed for Seoul from Busan Station early in the morning. I woke up pretty early so sempatlah siapkan breakfast ala-kadar. Buat alas perut.
We took the subway from Jagalchi Station to Busan Station (Exit 10). Fyi, Busan Station (KTX) & Busan Station (subway Metro) are two different stations. U have to get out from the subway station (Exit 6 / Exit 8 / Exit 10) & walk a bit to the KTX station.

| Busan Station (KTX). *picture taken the day before* |
| Those with reserved seats. Sob. Pasrah bila ingat kebijakkan diri sendiri. |
| Ngek, sedih ndak lama. The Eonni 'Stewardess' told us we can still sit in between the cars. Ada kerusi walau ndak se-comfy the reserved ones. Regardless the 'standing ticket' we held we got to sit. Thirty-minutes before we arrived Seoul, more and more people came into our 'coach'. Ouh rupanya we're not the only ones with the standing ticket. |
| The train will stop at few stations before arriving Seoul. Tiap kali pintu terbuka, tiap kali tu juga angin sejuk berdesup masuk. Mau sangat winter kan! |
Mobile phone battery charger. Jadi sila jangan panik kalau bateri kong. This machine is available at certain 'standing coach'.
| Wifi pun ada. Available to all passengers. Including passenger macam kami. Sob. |
| Rise & shine. Morning sunlight from Daegu. |
| One of my wishlists during this trip is to experience snowfall. Hence, harus aku melompat riang upon seeing this view. Considering Busan memang jarang snow, I really wish I will at least experience once in Seoul. Last time datang South Korea aku cuma sempat main snow di ski resort. Tu pun bukan snowfall. |
| Di tiket, ETA to Seoul is 0942. And yes, kami sampai on time! |
| After getting our bearing right, we followed the sign for subway train. |
I don't know why but I have always want to take a picture of the front of Seoul Station (KTX). And yeah, wishlist ticked!
| That's the old Seoul Station (with green dome) building. Running Man pernah buat shooting dalam tu! Explained why I was sooooo eager to jejak area Seoul Station ni. |
| Going down the escalator; heading to Seoul Station (subway train). |
Papahal, check in hostel dulu. Mula tu ingat mau simpan jak beg dalam loker di Seoul Station but after second thought, we decided its better to go to the hostel first. Sebab kalau balik lambat macam mana pun, ndak payah patah balik round seantero Seoul untuk ambil beg di loker lagi. Drama!
Anyhow, we stayed at Dongdaemun 2C House. Will blog about this hostel later. |
I told the Kazen...
"Sedap ni kuih, inti custard".
Immediately she replied
"Bah, beli! Orang laparrrrr".
Thought so, budak ni memang semua dia telan. Tolak batu pasir jak.
| And off we went to Myeong-dong. Tujuan utama untuk lunch di Yuganae. Thanks to my blogger friends yang berkali2 promote restoran ni, berliur jak aku baca selalu. So this time, mari kita fix the craving! Sambil cuci mata keluar masuk cosmetic shops yang banyak berhambur di sini. Misi si Err juga untuk cari winter jacket. Kerlas kan, Namdaemun Market sebelah jak ndak mau dijejak. |
| Huntunglah baru habis exam besar terus kena belanja jalan2 South Korea. Nasib jiwa anything Korean kita sama By. But poor her big sister who was supposed to join us. Suddenly dapat jadual exam yang diubah & clash sama trip ni. Selamat tinggal South Korea & hello exam for her. Walau tiket sudah beli tapi apakan daya. |
| Initial plan was to shop for the jacket here. Tapi ndak berapa tebal & a bit pricey. Jadi marilah kita cari store lain. |
| Why I love this particular brand? Mainly because of its theme color; obviously lah kan. Maka, jadilah EH ni tempat persinggahan paling kerap ever since my trip last June. This time pun few times keluar masuk membeli terbelah. Including the small kiosk at the airport; pun kami terjah. |
| Curi2 snap dalam store EH. Memang design macam castle dalam cerita kartun. Marketing diorang memang the best I shall say. |
| Dalam contemplating which jacket to buy, marilah kita isi perut yang sudah berkeroncong. Breakfast paling ringan from Busan...also sebotol susu pisang dalam tren adalah sangat ndak membantu kalau mau jalan2 jauh. Faktor sejuk pun mau ambil kira. Mestilah cepat jak lapar. |
Plain water adalah free as well as the banchans. Typical service at any restaurants in South Korea. Kami hanya bayar main dish. Seafood fried rice for 2 pax & 1 set of sweet potato yang diorang buat ala rice cake. Ok lupa gambar rupa sweet potato tu sebab memang lapar gila time ni.
For direction to this restaurant, please refer here. |
| By late evening, more & more stalls started operating. Kalau datang malam, memang meriah jalan di Myeong-dong ni. Kereta pun not allowed here. |
| Jalan pusing lebih kurang & after rembat sehelai jaket; off we went to Gangnam Station where we took the #5002 bus to Everland. Niat dari awal memang mau pigi theme park ni di petang hari. Apart from the discounted evening ticket, kami mau tengok firework show. |
Earlier that day after check-in at the hostel, the manager asked us where will we be going. When I replied Everland...he immediately said "Please take care. According to the forecast, it's going to be very very cold up there this evening".
Senyum jaklah kami dengar. Sampai Everland, soon after turun dari bas...memang rasa macam kena penampar berdas2 oleh angin sejuk yang boleh kasi beku muka time tu juga. Fuh bertabah jaklah, kan mau berwinter sangat. Rasakan lah!
