Winter Trip with Family - Everland Resort, Yongin

Seoul

Gigih aku buka tingkap rumah just to snap this. Angin yang menampar, walau pedih tapi aku puas hati sebab memang selalu berangan mau ada gambar macam ni.

Hari ni semua dipaksa bangun awal gila. Angah & Aunty woke us up with their high-pitch super loud semboyan-like voice. Sifat yang turun temurun diwarisi by each members of this family. Redha! Bangun jugalah walau terpaksa; masuk bathroom dengan mata separa tutup. Aku sudahlah tidur lewat sebab malam tu men-laundry. 

As usual, kena siapkan breakfast for them. Tugas sign-mati aku walau di mana kami berada. One of the many advantages jadi anak buahan sulung. NOT! 

Lepas semua siap, off we went out. Kali ni ndak mau buat silap macam last time; confused 2 arahan berbeza untuk sampai Everland.

This time, from our apartment we took the subway & stopped at Gangnam Station. Exited the station via Exit 10 & walked straight for about 300 metres. We then get in the bus #5002 in front of Krispykreme Doughnuts cafe (Sinnonyeon Bus Stop). This stop is where almost all the passengers from Everland will get off.

Mampu? I suggested different spots but they insisted to posed at the same spot. Ikut jaklah.

# If naik bas dari Sinnonhyeon stop, chances untuk dapat seat adalah 100%. So bolehlah layan tidur seround dua on the way to Everland. 

Journey took about an hour. Sepanjang jalan tu memang nampaklah semua pun covered with snow. Sangat lawa! Tapi tingkap bas berkabus so memang ndak ambil gambar. Cuci mata sendiri jak. Halfway, aku membuta. Sekian.

# Turun dari bas 5002, kena naik another shuttle to reach the resort.

As for the entrance ticket; we paid 37,000 KRW (adult) & 29,000 KRW (children) because I brought along the discount voucher I printed from their website (here).

The discount is valid till 31 Mac 2015. So if ada sesiapa mau pi sana before the promo ends, sila lah print the voucher to claim ur discount. One ticket provide discount for up to 4 people only. Kalau pi more than 4, sila print 2 voucher tu.

Like I don't know that fact, kan. Ni jaklah statement aku dengar berulang kali sepanjang kami di bumi Korea haritu. Told u, photographer resemi.

Tiap kali datang Everland memang ni lah aku sibuk mau tengok. This year, ni deco dia.

The cousins played few games. While the aunties & I...duduk di bench & waited for them. Aku pun ndak tau kenapa aku 'malas' main segala games tu walhal dulu aku lah peminat tegar extreme games. Paling aku suka that triple loop coaster di Sunway Lagoon dulu. Solero shot di Genting tu pun aku suka. Tapi sekarang sangatlah mengecutkan perut all these games. Last year aku naik flying apa ntah di fun fair, turun jak aku terus muntah. And migraine dekat seminggu. Faktor umur kah apa ni? Ok let that be unanswered. Eungdab pilyo eobso!

Angah brilliantly chose the right spot to touch up. I didn't notice this until Bunda pointed it out.

# The famous wooden roller coaster is closed in winter.
Too bad else boleh paksa cousins aku naik T-Express ni. Actually ada lah suara kecil dalam sudut hati paling dalam...untuk challenge diri sendiri to at least ride this thing; once! Tarik nafas paling dalam sambil berfikir mampukah tidak aku handle kejadian lepas naik ni.

Gigih menapak naik untuk sampai area sledging ni. Memang tercungap ndak hengat la once sudah sampai atas. Luckily queue ndak lama. 

# Lagi tinggi dari yang aku main sebelum ni. Trek baru yang siap 2014.
Last year memang ndak pi sini sebab lepas camera jatuh terhempap atas tanah, mood aku memang ke laut. So this time memang pasang niat, harus main benda ni.

Memang sah Angah excited sebab lepas jak sampai di bawah, dia bawa aku queue untuk yang double tube pula. Bunda & Aunty surrendered. Belum hilang penat menapak naik kunun.

Naik bas khas untuk masuk area ni. Jumpa lah few animals dalam tu. Aku memang ndak ambil gambar sebab aku sibuk tengok physical condition haiwan tu semua. Sedih. Lost Valley tutup juga masa ni. Impian Ezza mau naik bas yang half-tenggelam dalam air; punah.

Dari pagi sampai malam kami di Everland, memang non stop pi beli snacks bila lapar.  Restoran memang semua non-halal, so churros & waffle lah jadi penyelamat. Padah bila malas bawa makanan dari rumah. Semua pun paksarela ikat perut.

Naik lift untuk survey games di area American Adventure. 

Sambil tunggu malam...sebab mau tengok the park lighted with beautiful lights; kami pun jalan² semua area just to kill time. Temperature dropped petang tu. Memang sejuk lain macam. Everland ni situated ke atas sikit dari Seoul. So sejuk -2C di Seoul ndak kan sama sejuk -2C di sini.

Dari sini, kami jalan kaki turun pi European Adventure balik. Mau tengok lampu liplap.

Memang lah kreatif. Tulis ur wish atas permukaan bulb, and hang it on the fence. Memang lawa tempat ni bila malam.

Kenangan paling ngeri so far! Masa jalan atas this path, aku jadi extra extra careful.

Aku tau pun sebab kawan bagitau. Masa tu memang belum layan cerita tu that's why aku pun ndak tau.

This year berjaya tengok castle ni changed colours. Sooooo beautiful. Siap ada background music. Neomu neomu aleumdaun.

Although suhu sejuk melampau, pastu cuma dapat jamu perut with snakcs since morning...diorang langsung ndak complain. In fact, diorang lagi hyper dari aku. Thanks 3 adik beradik!  

After spending almost an hour di garden ni, we decided to call the night off. Masa ni baru rasa sejuk sampai ke tulang. Baru rasa perut buat konsert. Nasiblah kaki belum give up untuk menapak lagi.

Gitu kan ucapan macam duta. 

Macam biasa, keluar dari Everland...kena naik shuttle pi bus stop. And syukur, we didn't have to wait long for the bus. Sebab bas memang sudah ada. Pastu ada seat for all of us juga. Haruslah layan mata on the way balik Seoul tu. Penat maksimum!!

Sampai Seoul, terus naik subway balik apartment. Memang ndak plan untuk keluar lagi malam tu sebab penat melampau. Dinner pun di apartment jak. Lepas mandi, terus bergolek atas katil...fuh! Memang heaven. Rasa macam segala urat yang tegang...terus kendur. 

Malam tu aku me-laundry lagi. Nasiblah memang sewa apartment yang provide washing machine dalam rumah. Ok jugalah, sambil tunggu kain siap...aku layan Kdrama. Sambil diiringi suara dengkuran orang dalam rumah. Semua ndak mau kalah, macam pertandingan dengkur pun ada.

South Korea Day 2 - Everland Resort

Assalamualaikum. 안녕.

Last time (here) I went to Everland by bus #5007 from Jamsil Station Exit 6 (Line 2). This time I decided to try a different route. 

Kalau ikutkan direction that I got from Sis Zarina, one have to walked out from Gangnam Station Exit 6 or 7 (Line 2). Crossed the road. And the bus stop for bus #5002 is in the middle of the road opposite Dunkin Donut. 

I did follow the route. But I didn't get to the bus stop without getting lost first! Thanks to my fickle-mind that day, ntah kenapa otak macam separa berfikir. Confuse with the instruction from her blog & KTO website. 

In the blog, it clearly said that I should take either Exit 6 or 7. But I took Exit 10 instead. Walked for nearly 300 metres, cross the road in front of a Krispykreme cafe. Padahal sudah jelas tertulis Dunkin Donut. The moment I realized it wasn't the right 'middle of the road' bus stop; I walked back to Gangam Station & followed exactly the direction in the blog. 

Finally sampai bus stop yang betul. This is the view from the bus stop. 

Alhamdulillah, berkat sesat juga I now know the right way to get to Everland. Without jadi sardin dalam bas that is. My first & second time to Everland, I had to stood up in the bus all the way from Seoul. Annnnnnnnnnd the same thing happened for the third time. Ingatkan kalau tunggu bas di Gangnam Station, dapatlah aku duduk during the one-hour journey. Verangan jaklah! 

I figured out pasal the right route ni masa balik dari Everland. We took the same bus #5002 from the theme park. When we arrived at the last stop; there were sooooooooooooo many people queuing. Waiting for the bus. And that's when I heard the Ahjussi driver said; 

"Just come in, all these people will hop off the bus at the next station. They're all from Everland". 

Magic kan sebab Ahjussi tu sah² ndak cakap English. Tapi aku faham! I picked up words he said...and amazingly I understood them! Ok set aside rasa bangga please! Now I know in order to NOT HAVING TO STAND UP in the bus all the way to the resort, I have to take the bus #5002 from Sinnonhyeon bus stop. It is right in front of Krispykreme cafe & there's no need to cross the road! 

Sob! Kan senang kau ikut jak direction dari KTO tu Bie oii! Sudah sampai depan Krispy Kreme, tapi mahu juga kau lintas jalan & cari bus stop tengah jalan tu kan. Beconfused by two directions from different sources. 

This I took masa sesat cari middle of the road bus stop. And this is actually the very route to Sinnonhyeon bus stop from Gangnam Station Exit 10. 

This is the building  in front of Sinnonhyeon bus stop. Wait for the bus #5002 here. Do not cross the road. 

Image credit to naver.map. This is the bus stop. Wait here! Gitu kan ulang² remind diri sendiri. Regardless how crowded the bus is, worry not. Most of them will alight at the next station. Ulang balik apa Ahjussi cakap.

The one-hour journey from Gangnam to Everland went smooth. Traffic was a bit congested on the opposite road. From the bus stop kena walk a bit to the shuttle bus area.

I brought the discount coupon I printed before coming to South Korea. Hence dapat beli entrance ticket way cheaper. As for the cousin, dia memang entitle for Teenager rate. Total damage cost for our tickets 65,000₩.

New store in the park. It's YG Hologram Store. Cuci mata tengok Top-ssi dalam ni. Cawir hati!

Lights on the moment we stepped into this area. Wah terus rasa magik gila! Just on time.

My magical tree. Ever since my first visit, this tree has always been the center of my attention. Mesti ndak sabar mau tinguk macamana diorang deco this tree. My fav stuff; as the besties called it. 

Last trip guna superwalkertapaki turun bawah. This time pilih sky cruise pula sebab sejuk melampau ndak mampu melangkah lebih². Located inside this building. Mula tu aku ingat kena bayar rupanya it's free. Aigoo perangai kau Bie suka buat rules sendiri kan.

On the way down. Ada budak excited cum gayat. Cantiknya taman!

Last June, this garden penuh dengan bunga. This time, lip lap lip lap with colorful lighting. Ada few areas covered with snow. Tapi maybe sini jarang snow sebab pathways ndak da snow pun. 

Performance was in Korean so kami melayan seminit dua jak. Lagipun penat melompat² mau tengok stage, ramai sangat orang di depan.

Roman Area. Haritu ada air mengalir²....kali ni air semua beku sudah. 

Di depan sana ada castle. When we arrived the area, macam ada lighting performance going to start. We were beyond excited, atur langkah laju ke depan. Ndak mau miss the performance. I was trying to take a video of the colorful lights when I suddenly heard a sound. So I stopped & looked down. Seriously masa tu jantung immediately paused beating. Kepala terus blank. Sebab terlampau sejuk, tangan kebas hence I didn't realize the camera slipped from my wrist.

Poor my baby. Terhentak twice(!!!) atas gravel ground. Lens adalah senget, cannot close, cannot focus whats more taking picture. Cuma boleh guna untuk edit gambar, view instagram & anything that has nothing to do with taking picture/video. Baru second day! 

Lepas jak insiden tu, mood terus masuk laut paling dalam. Sudahlah memang buta² bawa that camera jak. All our things sudah simpan dalam loker near the entrance gate. And that included our handphones. Mood sudah ke laut. Plan untuk ronda the theme park automatik ke laut juga. Mau main the newly upgraded snow buster pun ke laut. Padahal punyalah berkobar main main sledding bagai before sampai Everland. Semua semua semuaaaaaaaa ke laut. In the end, guna gondola lift naik atas. And 'check-out' from the park. Hati sangat berdarah². 

As the camera thingy wasn't enough, masa naik shuttle bus tu kaki aku buat hal. Fine, blame the legs yang suddenly numb. Aku ndak rasa di mana aku pijak...the next thing I knew, I was already on the floor. Jatuh atas bas kau! Imagine nangka terjelupuk jatuh atas tanah. Bukan sekali pula tu, dua kali! Si Kazen sudah bantai ketawa ndak hengat punya, aku ni ndak tau mana mau sorok muka. Macam mau masuk dalam beg ada. Tapi sungguh terharu when the cousin told me, none of the people in the bus laughed. Instead, most of the girls tried to helped me to get up. And yeah, muka diorang risau gila. Yang lelaki pula sibuk tanya "Gwaenchanheuseyo?" few times! Aigoo lagilah aku rasa macam mau terbang keluar bas oii! Betul lah hari yang bingai for si Err. 

Sampai hostel, mood still belum ok. After talking to the bestie, barulah timbul rasa 'redha'. Sesi bercakap sama diri sendiri bermula...

"Eh, kesah sangat kamera rosak? Janganlah spoil mood holiday just because of small thing macam tu. Boleh repair kan sampai KK nanti. Guna jaklah handphone. Settle masalah problemo". 

And so roh waras pun masuk dalam diri balik. Baru rasa perut kosong; lapar! Marilah kita jamu perut. Lagi haru kalau sakit time bercuti compare sama kamera yang rosak. 

Our first dinner in Seoul.  Dalam pasrah mampu masak lagi kan. Ngeks. Fried spaghetti cecah tuna sardin. Pastu segelas nescafe panas di malam hari di kala sejuk...memang terbaik. Hilang rasa sedih.
