# Creativity I walked passed by this tembok everyday. Pergi & balik. Jalan ni is a bit hilly, ada kena mendaki sikit mau sampai guesthouse. |
# Entrance Dalam naver.map, guesthouse ni belum wujud. Previously it was a restaurant if I'm not mistaken. It seem that the guesthouse kept the Zone-graffiti. |
# Doolee House, Hongdae The night where I have to run back to the hostel because it was already past the curfew time...I seriously thought I would end up sleeping at those stairs. |
# Reception area |
# Laluan to the guest rooms My room was on the first floor hence perlu menapak naik tangga. Doolee doesn't have lift. |
# 4-beds mixed dorm |
# Double room |
# The single bedroom My crib for the last 2 nights in Seoul |
# Kitchen dry area Cum common area too. |
# Spacious wet kitchen |
# Dining Table Where I have my breakfast every morning. Doolee House provides breakfast for free. Bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee, green tea...cukuplah kan buat alas perut. |
# With one of the staff; lovely Swan The girl that called me 'cute' when I arrived late that night. I was sweating in such cold temperatures for God sake yet boleh dia panggil aku cute. Redha jaklah. |
Swan-ssi speaks good English. And I learned few Hangul from her. She was cleaning the house when I was about to check out. She paused her chores & we have a chit-chat before I bid her goodbye. And when I was about to leave the house...
"I like you. Neomu joh-a. Because u so friendly. Hope we can meet again. Have a safe trip. Annyeonghigaseyo."
Wah terharu, boleh? Friendly la sangat, walhal mulut memang macam popcorn.
- The house doesn't provide password for the front door. Guest need to ring the bell in order to enter. And staff(s) will be at the house only until 12am. Hence, the curfew time. Be back before 12am else u'll end up sleeping outside. Luck was at my side the other day because Swan was still at the house when I arrived late that night. Almost half an hour late. Sobs.
- Wifi is super fast & it's free!
- In the web, it is stated Doolee House is located approximately 10 minutes from Hongik Station Line 2 (Exit 8). But I'd say it depends on how fast one walk because I can reach the house in 5 minutes. Berjalan santai lagi.
- The rate was a bit pricey but I am pretty satisfied with the facilities. Some more it is located in the heart of Hongdae. Neighbourhood yang lengkap serba serbi.
- Would I recommend this property? Yes!

Bersih sungguh...
ReplyDeletebestnya. bolehlah pergi nanti. tapi entah bila yer boleh pergi korea.
ReplyDeleteAbang MKL: Memang bersih. Guesthouse ni baru lagi.
ReplyDeleteMiraNadia: Insha Allah, soon! Kena positif. Harap2 Mira dapat posting cepat. Amin, amin.
90k tu tuk sehari ke 2hari?tp kalo 45k per day pun mmg consider mahal la kan...aku mcm ingt duk namsan tu murah sikit kot...hehehe tgk, aku leh compare ngn namsan jerrrr....hehehehe
ReplyDeleteDJ: Hahaha ok aku dah ubah. 45k sehari. Namsan aku xleh duduk sebab xde single room. And masa tu memang xnak duk dorm katanye. Kalau datang berdua duk twin room kat Namsan memang murah lagi. Katanye nak duk Hongdae sebab aku naik Arex nak gi airport last day tu. Nyesal naik train, pasni memang naik airport bus jelah. Sobs.
ReplyDeleteMemang banyak theme cafe kat Hongdae. Haritu dah round area lain, so kali ni ingat duk Hongdae dapat round area x cover lagi tapi time constraint, ulang alik GH je lah. Happening Hongdae ni tapi best. Betul, xdelah balik lewat tapi better if diorang bagi password siap2.
Deletepatut sebelum balik ko mintak Swan-ssi amik gamba ko posing ala ala kena curfew tido kat tangga haha
ReplyDeleteNazla: Gitu kan idea. Aku masa ni xde fikir apa dah, nak cepat sampai station je takut terlepas flight. Aku risau airport tu kan besar nak kena naik train bagai.
DeleteSekali imbas tadi ingatkan nama dia Sawan.... Swan rupa-rupanya! Cute je nama tu. :)
ReplyDeleteKak Fay: Ya Allah lawak giler akak tau! Sawan pun ok lah, specially masa dia panggil Bb cute lepas pecut 100m haritu. Nama dia sebenarnya Su Hwan tapi dia tukar spelling jadi Swan. Elok lah ngan kulit putih gebu dia.
DeleteBie nanti boleh rekomen sikt kalu family of 3 mana nak duduk ek? Ke patut aku cari private apartment?
ReplyDeleteSiti: Bagi aku, duk guesthouse kat sana pun dah ok. That is if u dont mind sharing the kitchen la. So far ramai gak aku jumpa fam with kids duk tempat aku stay. Terserempak selalunye waktu pagi, the Mother tengah sibuk2 siapkan bekalan for the kids gitu. Masa tu lah aku mulakan sesi bertanya & berkenalan. Haha.
DeleteBie thanks. Maknanya dia accept budak keciklah ye. Sesetengah tempat tak accept. Kalu gitu senanglah. Aku tak kisah kongsi-kongsi.
ReplyDeleteAah mostly accept budak kecik as long as diorang ada offer private room. Kalau dorm semata memang diorang x accept.
Deletecantik, bersih n nampk selesa
ReplyDeleteGuesthouse baru so memang bersih sangat. And yes selesa..
DeleteOk gak GH ni Bie..Lokasi tu yg penting, bilik bersih, ada free WIFI semua..facilities lengkap...dekat ngan tren station..kalau 45K won kira murah compare to Namsan..maybe Namsan di tgh bandar so quite expensive lah yek
ReplyDeleteJM: Eh xdelah Namsan lagi murah sebab ni single room. Namsan double room baru 70K Won. Yang ni kira tengah2 area budak muda mudi. Bb je xsedar diri ingatkan remaja lagi bahahahaha.
