Assalamualaikum. สวัสดี!
Thanks to other bloggers who have been so generous on sharing the halal restaurant(s) in Bangkok. This time, the restaurant I went located at the Ratchathewi area. Aku pun mau lah juga share info ni.
When there is a mosque, there will definitely be halal restaurant(s) in the vicinity. Insha Allah, amin amin.

Ratchathewi, Bangkok
The two Muslim restaurants near Darul Aman Mosque in Bangkok are reachable via the BTS Ratchathewi Station (Sukhumvit Line). Take the left stairs when exiting the stations. Walk straight...and follow the map above. It will take about ~5-10 minutes to reach the restaurant. Depend kelajuan tapaki anda. |
Alhamdulillah, arrived safely without getting lost. Aku ambil sebiji2 direction yang si John tulis dalam blog dia. |
DJ recommended this resto but unfortunately it was closed when we arrived that afternoon. The Macik at Farida's told us Mak Yah is closed during Ramadhan. |
Bukan rezeki kami untuk makan di Mak Yah haritu so kami redha. Kan Farida Fatornee ada. |
Simple jak interior kedai ni. Unlike the interior at Mak Yah's that I saw in few blogs (i.e here). |
Aku order sambil tunjuk gambar di menu. But worry not because the family that runs this resto speak Malay. Ada bunyi Siam-Kelantan sikit tapi boleh faham 100%. |
Aku tapau tom yam seafood & ikan keli masak sambal. Bila ingat lauk2 tu, terus meleleh air liur. Sedap ok, sangat sedap. Sampai sekarang terkenang2 di hujung lidah.
We didn't dine at the restaurant walau ada juga few customers sedang jamu selera. I felt a bit malu sama tuan kedai, her husband & her children. Perlu rasa malu gitu. Lepas bayar harga makanan in which kalau ndak silap aku dalam 300 Bahts, kami pun jalan balik pi Rathcathewi Station. Masa untuk lunch & sambung shopping di MBK. Walau bukan forte kami katanya.
